We are constantly looking for positive and uplifting news items. You can submit these here.

Features
Our content comes from all manner of sources, in fact we’ll look anywhere to find, quirky, engaging, or interesting features. Have you got something to share, you might be a full time writer or just someone with a story to tell. We accept factual or fiction, but are especially interested in first hand accounts of uplifting true stories as well as submissions for our regular features. For details of terms, please see here.

Where unsolicited material is submitted and accepted, it will not be published until agreement to publish is granted by the contributor.

Our feature current requirements are:

• Short Stories.
  
• Serialised stories.
• A day in the life (Teacher, football referee, estate agent, etc.).
  
• ‘Feel good’ true life stories (not crime or negative subjects).
  
• General interest features with a positive slant.
  
• Hobbies and interest features.

Sorry but we are not currently looking for:

• Top Ten Lists
  
• Puzzles and quizzes.

Outlines and concepts
We can accept outline concepts to explain a proposed feature, though these normally have to be from established writers (so that we have an idea of their writing style, etc). These are accepted provisionally, however, and we cannot guarantee purchase or publication of a feature till we have read it in full. Payment is not made for any work until it is supplied in full.

If you are a new writer we are likely to need samples of your work (or an significant excerpt from the feature itself), prior to accepting an outline concept, but again this does not guarantee publication.

We will gratefully receive any of the following. Though we do not normally pay for:

• Press releases.
• Outline concepts for features.
• Material in the public domain that hasn’t been substantially added to by the contributor.
• Ideas for news items.
• Organisation or business features.
• Beneficiary features.
