Q. What on Earth is Brightideas.today?
A. Brightideas365 is a new online positive news magazine offering, news, features, discount vouchers, big prize draws, downloadable e-books, entertainment guides and much more.
Brightideas365 subscriptions are sold in support of beneficiaries such as schools, charities, and community group, with 50% of our income, plus all profits going directly to these community organisations.
Q. How do you work with businesses and what are the benefits?
A. Brightideas.today works with businesses of all sizes in a number of ways, you can find out about these in our Benefits for Your Business section.
Q. Does participating cost anything?
A. No, most of our programmes are free to participate in. The only exceptions being sponsorship and newsletter advertising.
Q. What do we have to do?
A. That depends on the programme that you are participating in, more details can be found in our Benefits for Your Business section.
Q. Do we have to sign a contract?
A: No, businesses do not have to sign any form of paperwork to participate in our free programmes, though participation implies that you have accepted our standard terms and conditions. We do, however, reserve the right to verify that participation is sanctioned by the appropriate authority within the company for security purposes. Businesses can leave programmes at any time without penalty.
If your business participates in our ‘Display Posters’ programme and you wish to record how much is raised for your cause, then a beneficiary code is required. This is available free and without obligation here.
Paid for services require an order form from the appropriate staff member.
Q. What are the Terms and Conditions?

Q. How much does the cause we are supporting get if we participate in the display poster programme?
A. Your cause will get a monthly commission based on the number of subscribers that nominated them (after VAT and bank processing charges). Additionally, your cause will receive 100% of profits from subscribers that nominated them at the end of each year. Current commission rates are shown here.
If you have a beneficiary code, you can get a statement that will tell you how much your nominated cause has received using it. This is available without obligation here.
Q. What happens if a subscriber unsubscribes?
A. Then the commission/profits for this subscriber is no longer paid to the beneficiary cause.
Q. How long does a beneficiary code last?
A. It lasts indefinitely, but can be cancelled.
Q. What happens if we choose to leave the programme?
A. Your business may leave the programme any time you wish by simply not promoting your code (it can be cancelled altogether if required). Payments will however continue to be paid to your selected cause for the life of any subscriptions that supports them.
