What is Brightideas.today?
Brightideas.today is a new online news magazine, but we’re a little different in a couple of ways. Firstly we’re wholly focused on positive news, the good things that are going on around the UK and the World that tend to get squeezed out of mainstream media, and secondly because 100% of our profits go to schools, charities, clubs, and community groups.

Every subscriber to Brightideas.today has to nominate a beneficiary when they subscribe. This can be any not-for-profit organisation that benefits the community (a full list of eligible organisations is available here), and yours could be one of them. This is just one of a number of ways that not-for-profit organisations can benefit from free Brightideas.today fundraising and promotional programmes.

To participate in any of these, please click on the appropriate button at the bottom of this page. Privately owned clubs that operate on a commercial basis are not eligible to participate in our beneficiary programmes, however they may be able to join one of our business programmes, you can find out more about these here.

How can clubs benefit?
BECOME A BENEFICIARY
Your club could receive income from our subscriptions. Not for profit organisations receive 50% of the weekly net income¹ for each subscriber that names them as beneficiary. Additionally, they also receive a proportionate share of the annual profits from Brightideas.today, which is divided amongst our beneficiaries (click here for more information). None of our profits are paid to shareholders.

Our news sections can be used to announce and report specific events, etc. whereas features are more in-depth and can be used to explain the work or history of your group. All we ask is that news and features are positive and uplifting, not direct cash appeals, and comply with our usual editorial policies.
