What is Brightideas.today?
Brightideas.today is a new online positive news magazine, but we’re a little different, because 100% of our profits go to schools, charities, community groups and local facilities.
Everyone that subscribes to Brightideas.today has to select a beneficiary cause, and it could be your school.

How can my school benefit?
50% of our income and 100% of our profits go to the causes selected by our subscribers when they sign up. If they name your school, it will receive this.
Your school could receive well over £1,000 a month. Not only that but just being a beneficiary could win your school £5,000 in our annual schools draw.
Our forthcoming writing, art, and design competitions and programmes will also offer students the chance to have their work published without giving up copyright, as well as prizes for participating schools and students.
What do subscribers get?
Brightideas.today carries a mixture of features, discounts, prize draws, features, e-books, puzzles, and much more. All for the price of a Starbucks coffee or a National Lottery ticket (though a lottery ticket only gives 28% to good causes, we give 50-90%).
Our team find and negotiate the best discounts to actually make your supporters better off for subscribing, whatever their income level. We can even offer prize draws that are exclusive to your supporters*.
Would be subscribers can take a four week trial with no obligation or need to enter credit card details. If they do subscribe they can cancel their subscription at any time without penalty. We are keen to make sure all subscribers are happy with their subscription before they pay for it.
What does my school have to do?
Not much! If your school’s name is named as a beneficiary by a subscriber, that subscription supports it, it’s as simple as that.
Needless to say, we’d like schools to let their supporters know about us via usual channels, and whilst this does enhance your income, there is no obligation to do this.
What are my school’s obligations?
None really. If your supporters subscribe their agreement is with us, and all liability is ours. We just require that our product and relationship with the school is fairly and honestly represented to potential subscribers.
We can supply statistical information, subscriber numbers, etc. Personal information of subscribers (email addresses, etc.) cannot of course be shared, however. We do not hold information on our subscribers, save for username and email address.
Are there any other benefits for my school?
Yes. We aim to work closely with schools to run student competitions in creative fields such as writing, design, and art, which will then be published in the magazine. For further information on these or suggestions for future projects, please contact us.
